We had a great session on 21st February with 12 residents cleaning up the green at the entrance of the estate and the plant beds and under the bushes on Jarrow Road.
Some people did more the next day: at least 36 bags of waste, numerous cylinders of nitrous oxide, a bicycle and one wig were removed.
Thanks to the residents and to Veolia for providing litter pickers, bags and gloves… and for sending the collection truck on the same day.
