New recycling facilities: Clothes bank
A clothes bank, the only one in the estate, is now available at the entrance of the estate on Jarrow Road
Back in October 2024, a resident reported some fly-tipping as they had managed to take pictures of a van dumping rubbish at night in Kessock Close. They have just received this message from the Council:
‘I wanted to express my gratitude for sending us the fly-tipping report along with the excellent photographs. I’m pleased to inform you that the driver of the vehicle has been fined £1,000 and has paid the fixed penalty notice.‘

*This photo shows a different instance of fly-tipping on Kessock Close (December 2024).
This is how to report fly tipping if you see it happening:

FLAG reached out to both Cllr Peacock and MP David Lammy to press Haringey to take action on untaxed vehicles parked in the estate

Exchange of letters between FLAG and Haringey after our objection and complaint regarding the excessive charges for insurance in the latest service charge notices.
