DVLA’s reply to MP David Lammy
Upon FLAG’s request, MP David Lammy wrote to the DVLA. The link above shows their reply of 16th March 2026.
Haringey’s reply to MP David Lammy and Councillor Sheila Peacock
On 6th March 2026 Haringey Council responded to MP David Lammy with the same letter they had sent to Cllr Sheila Peacock. FLAG has responded to David Lammy’s office asking him to go back to the council and request that they send FLAG regular updates on their inspections and reports to DVLA.
Since September 2025 FLAG has been trying to get the council to deal with vehicles which looked abandoned. In several occasions, we have supplied lists of untaxed vehicles which are parked in the estate. We recently sought the support of Cllor Peacock and MP Lammy.

Royal Mail responds to David Lammy’s MP letter

Ahead of the May local election, FLAG conducted a poll amongst residents about their priorities and shared it with several political parties

A clothes bank, the only one in the estate, is now available at the entrance of the estate on Jarrow Road

FLAG reached out to both Cllr Peacock and MP David Lammy to press Haringey to take action on untaxed vehicles parked in the estate
